The McLean Playschool operates out of the hall in the Bethel United Church located on Main Street in McLean, SK.
We provide a pre-kindergarten caring and structured environment to ready children, ages 3 and 4, for school. Our teacher, Sydney Shire, helps the children learn skills such as sharing and playing with others, listening and following directions, letters and their sounds, numbers and counting, colours, shapes and craft skills such as cutting, gluing and painting.
Students are placed in classes according to their ages as of December 31st of that year, so that it follows along with their class as they enter kindergarten. The four year old group attends class every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am to 11:00am. The three year old group has classes once a week on either Tuesday or Thursday with the four year olds. Late registrations are accepted with pro-rated fees.
A registration night is held online in August with classes usually beginning early September. Potty training is subject to teachers preference but highly encouraged. For more information please email [email protected].
