Public notice is herby given that Council of the Village of McLean intents to adopt a bylaw under
The Planning and Development Act, 2007 to amend Bylaw 03-2014 known as the Zoning Bylaw.
INTENT
The proposed bylaw will amend section 5.5 Future Urban Development District – FUD, subsection 5.51 Permitted Uses to allow One (1) horse per five (5) acres (2 hectares) of owned land, no other livestock is permitted.
AFFECTED LAND
The Future Urban Development District amendment will apply throughout the entire municipality.
REASON
The reason for the amendment is to allow residents to keep horses on their land.
PUBLIC INSPECTION
Any person may inspect the bylaw at the municipal office between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday through Thursday excluding statutory holidays. Copies are available at a cost.
PUBLIC HEARING
Council will hold a public hearing on July 10th, 2024, at the regular scheduled council meeting at the Village Office at 7:00 p.m.
